They couldn’t find consistent profitable sales from Google because of their search and shopping campaign structure which was spending on unprofitable products.
They had a large number of products with an unoptimised feed, which was utilising titles and descriptions from their store without a clear and tested structure.
We implemented margin based bidding on Google Shopping with custom labels and implemented a feed management tool.
Alongside this we tested a simplified search structure which focussed on categories and third party brands, with customer lists to focus more heavily on new customers.
We also tested pausing certain brand terms, whilst keeping others which were found to be more incremental.
We’ve grown spend by 114% YoY, Revenue +175% YoY and ROAS +28% YoY.
